This is the most common question about Revocycle! Everyone has seen the intense and loud ‘spinning’ classes at the gym, and we don’t blame you for being turned off.
The simple answer is, riding with us is as hard or easy as you want it to be. Every person has a resistance knob on their bike they can use to make pedaling harder or easier. We tell everyone that anything is better than nothing, and they are free to work as hard or easy as they want to.
If we are doing standing climbing and you don’t feel like you can handle it, then simply sit and pedal easy with very little resistance. If we are going to do a sprint and you are tired, then don’t do it!
We know that exercise is simply the healthiest and best thing we can do for our mind and body, and that even a little bit of exercise is better than none at all. We are each at different places in our journey, and our classes and encourage everyone to find their own zone. We will not scream at you, we will not force you to work at something you are uncomfortable with.
Cycling is truly the best way to burn calories and condition your cardiovascular system. Ever been to Amsterdam and seen the hundreds, thousands of bikes around the city? Men and women of all ages ride their bikes daily and are fit and happy because of it.
